About Carrie

Experienced. Involved. Committed.

Carrie was raised in the Hastings area and graduated from Hastings High School in 1996. She went on to earn a B.A. in International Business Management, with a minor in Spanish, from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2000. Her husband is also a Hastings graduate, Class of 1995, and together they chose to raise their two children in the Hastings community.

Professionally, Carrie works as a supply chain consultant and has spent much of her career focused on continuous improvement—finding better ways to work, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and achieving high-quality results. She brings that same mindset to her work on the School Board: asking questions, understanding the data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and challenging the status quo when there may be a better way forward.

Outside of work and School Board service, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, creating pottery, gardening, playing volleyball, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
